HOUSTON (April 2, 2013) – In tribute to the 3,417 Texas heroes who died in the Vietnam War, Excalibur Exhibits designed and built the “3417 Project - Texas Vietnam Heroes Exhibit”. The display was unveiled March 24 at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Texas Capital Vietnam Monument in Austin, Texas. This exhibit will be on display through July 28, 2013 before it is moved to San Antonio.......

I went to Austin this week for the Texas Capitol Vietnam Veterans Monument Groundbreaking. The monument was approved by Texas Lawmakers in 2005. Legislation for the monument was sponsored by two men, both Vietnam Veterans: Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa and Representative Wayne Smith.......
