One of the newest innovations in trade show exhibits are modular exhibits. As its name implies, a modular exhibit uses interchangeable parts or modules to create unique and exciting trade show exhibit spaces.

How Do Modular Exhibits Work?

Unlike other types of trade show exhibits, modular exhibits offer a great deal of flexibility in the way they are configured. In fact, with a modular exhibit, companies could feasibly create a different display layout for every trade show and conference they attend.

Modular exhibits are broken down into components or pieces that fit together in more than one way. With modular exhibits, it is possible to take the same basic pieces and configure them differently to create different types of displays. With other types of display units, only one setup is usually possible. For example, banner displays can only be hung from a wall or other stationary object, and table covers can only be used on certain size tables.

What Are The Benefits of Modular Exhibits?

Modular exhibits add flexibility to a trade show display kit. Instead of being forced to use display components in only one way, modular exhibits allow users to create unique and vibrant displays that are suited to ever exhibit hall and space allotment.

This can be a big benefit when companies travel to many trade shows each year. Often a company must forgo using some of its display material due to lack of room or the inability to set up certain structures in various spaces. With a modular exhibit, companies can easily fit their display into any small area or expand to fill a larger area without looking cramped.

Modular exhibits also offer flexibility in the purpose of the display area. Modular exhibits allow the display area to do more than simply show off the product. With a modular exhibit, companies can create workstations, spaces for chats with representatives, demonstrations of products or services, and even storage for giveaways or extra materials.

Most importantly, however, modular displays can grab the attention of those passing by. The purpose of taking time to go to a trade show is to foster connections or discover leads, and this is possible only when people see and respond to the brand. A unique and interesting modular display not only captures attention but can also instill a sense of brand identity when the display is configured to reflect the company’s particular qualities.

What Should A Modular Exhibit Include?

Because modular exhibits are so unique, it is hard to have a concise list of things to include in the kit. The necessary components for a modular exhibit depend on the purpose to which the display is put and what the representatives need in terms of display space and other options.

However, there is one thing that every modular exhibit should have: expandability. Purchasing modular components may happen over time, so it is very important that all the parts of present and future modular display units work together so that they can be used interchangeably.

Modular display units are a great investment for companies that want flexibility and cost-effectiveness in their trade show display materials as well as a way to promote their brand through interactive and eye-catching displays.
