INC5000 Recognizes Excalibur Exhibits

HOUSTON (September 5, 2008) – Excalibur Exhibits recently celebrated its first year on Inc. Magazine’s annual publication of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. The list is the most comprehensive look at what many consider to be the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs.

Excalibur Exhibits ranked 3,778 overall and was listed in the Advertising and Marketing category. The company has grown steadily and reported an 81.6% growth in revenue since 2004. Founded in 1997, Excalibur Exhibits employs 26 employees at its 50,000 square foot Houston facility.

“Even as marketing budgets are shrinking, Excalibur Exhibits has still been able to grow into new markets and expand its service offerings due to one simple fact — we provide measurable results,” offered Peggy Swords, President and Founder of Excalibur Exhibits. “Last year we celebrated our 10th anniversary, and for more than a decade we’ve continued to provide our clients with high-impact 3-D marketing environments that command attention and get the right message to the right audience. The Inc. 5000 ranking is validation that we bring value to our client’s bottom line.”

Earlier this year Excalibur Exhibits was also named as one of the Top 500 Women Owned businesses in the United States (Div500) by DiversityBusiness.com.

About Inc. 5000 List

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2004, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2007 (a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired since that date). Revenue in 2004 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2007 must have been at least $2 million. Full-time and part-time employees are included in the head count; independent contractors are excluded.

The 5,000 companies that made the list reported aggregate revenue of $185 billion and median three-year growth of 147 percent. Most important, the 2008 Inc. 5000 companies were engines of job growth, having created more than 826,033 jobs since those companies were founded. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
